This installment of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with Caroll Spinney. Caroll is best known as the puppeteer and voice of "Big Bird" and "Oscar the Grouch" on Sesame Street. He also starred in the film Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird and was the subject of the documentary I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story. During the show he discussed how he wound up working on Sesame Street, the differences between "Big Bird" and "Oscar the Grouch" when performing, and his thoughts on the legacy of the characters going forward. He was a humble legend for sure!

During the rest of the show we tried to figure out why penny loafers exist, discussed our favorite movie soundtracks, and the miscarriage of justice involved in Ton's loss of the homecoming crown. The summer of Five Count rolls on!

...James Brown drummer Clyde Stubblefield joins us next Saturday!
